Product Description

T-Mold leverages the cooling time in injection molding to increase productivity.Similar to stack molds, T-Mold features a double-layer, double-parting surface design. During production, one parting surface undergoes opening, ejection, closing, injection, and pressure holding while the other part cools.

T-Mold is highly advantageous for large-scale production where cooling time exceeds 40% of the cycle time. If cooling time exceeds 60%, productivity nearly doubles. T-Mold requires only moderate modifications to standard injection molding machines and does not need specialized equipment. The clamping force required by stack hot runner molds needs to increase by only 5% to 15%, while the number of cavities can be doubled.

Difficulties of Mold:

1. Higher demands in mold design, manufacturing, and tuning; 

2. Requires a mold opening and closing control mechanism; 

3. Utilizes a specialized hot runner system.
